Mr. Peabody is a blue-eyed, mostly black, paint quarter-horse. He had no papers, no name, and no history when I got him. When I first saw him, he could rollback, slide stop, spin, run barrels and all sorts of things that I had never seen, never mind tried. He walked fast, trotted fast, loped fast, and got scared fast. He was in no way the horse for me! But I bought him anyway.

Well, so far I love your Mr. Peabody and your blog. It’s good to have someone else to live vicariously through. I’ve often thought about writing about the horses I meet in my lessons..but being school horses they are usually bored and listless……it makes me long for my own horse – one I can get to know well. Thanks – Ruthann
Hi Ruthann, Thanks for checking it out. I have to admit I think vicariously might be easier sometimes! Send me some JPEGs of your great horse art and I’ll post them. Keep on reading!
