St. Jude Children’s Hospital Donation Time Again.

,St. Jude Children’s Hospital

OK, so it’s been more than a year (by 3 days) since I’ve blogged. I guess I’ve been busy! Let me re-cap my year; I rode Mr. Peabody, fought off snowstorms, buckets of rainfall, and 2 floods. I did tons of photography, and have been working on re-inventing 2 businesses. I met lots of fun people (do you Tweet!) and mostly stayed really busy.

On October 15th, I will be participating in a Saddle-Up for St. Jude horse event at Dream Catcher Ranch in Ft. Ann, New York. Last year Mr. Peabody and I raised over $1500. We hope to do the same this year, but really need your help.

This year I’ve created, with the help of my friend Elisa, owner of Lis Designs, a 12″x18″ poster entitled “Foals”, specifically for the St. Jude kids. This is my gift to YOU for a donation of at least $25.

100% of the money raised goes directly to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

What’s a Juried Fine Art Show?

I've regaled my readers, for the past 6 months, with tales relating to my nervousness; loading a trailer, driving a trailer , driving a trailer WITH Mr. Peabody inside, and competing against 12 year olds English and against adults western, amongst others. The nerves from these events (and others) came from my having to get out ...

Best Use of Baling Twine…Period

Since I've owned him, and not recently, Mr. Peabody has flipped over 2 times,  and broke a 2&6 he was crossed tied to, almost taking yours truly out, as he swung it around his stall. The first time he flipped over on his back (saddled), I was getting ready to ride, and had his lead rope ...
